At Southern Underground Gallery, we believe creativity is not about perfection — it’s about connection and fun. We offer art classes where beginners can collaborate and have fun in an art studio environment.

Our Paint and Pass Class is designed as a guided creative experience where you can explore, experiment, and express yourself without judgment. We think of ourselves as creative guides rather than instructors, because our goal isn’t technical perfection — it’s creating space for authentic expression and shared experience.

In Paint and Pass, each participant begins a painting and then passes it along, allowing the artwork to evolve through collaboration. The process is playful, surprising, and often deeply meaningful. With small class sizes (limited to 10 participants), the experience feels personal, supportive, and connected.

Whether you’re coming solo or with friends, our invitation is simple: come as you are, create together, and leave with a one-of-a-kind piece shaped by community.

Our Paint Your Partner or Bestie Class is a fun filled date night experience where our instructor will guide you through the basics of sketching a face and mixing skin tones.  The final style is entirely up to you.  Whether you go for a realistic portrait or a Picasso-style abstract, the goal is to have fun.
