Youth Submission Form
Theme: “The Self-Portrait” Submissions: Each month starting January 1, 2026 to select a Featured Youth Artist (monthly) for the 2026 year.
Full Exhibition Dates: December 1, 2026 – January 1, 2027
About the Theme What makes a self-portrait? At SUG, we believe everything you create is a reflection of who you are — a mirror of your inner world, your imagination, and your experience. A self-portrait isn’t limited to a face or a figure; it’s your unique expression through color, shape, and story.
This year’s theme invites youth artists to explore identity and emotion through any medium. Whether it’s a painting, sculpture, collage, or experimental piece — every work tells a story of self.
Submission Guidelines
• Eligibility: Ages 8–17
• Artwork Size: Max 20 x 16 inches
• Mediums Accepted: Painting, drawing, sculpture, collage, mixed media
• Monthly Deadline: 15th of each month (Jan–Nov)
• Drop-off: Southern Underground Gallery, Leiper’s Fork, TN
• Digital Submissions: Upload via our online portal or email clear photos to southernundergroundgallery@gmail.com
